ATTEND AN LED COUNCIL MEETING

JOIN US FOR ANSWERS TO YOUR LED LIGHTING QUESTIONS

LED City Council Meetings are being hosted by cities participating in the
LED City program. The LED City program is designed to help cities throughout
the world accelerate the adoption of LED lighting for dramatic energy and
maintenance cost savings. County, state and university officials are also
invited to attend the LED City Council Meetings.

Each meeting agenda will feature presentations from three LED City
participants, sharing their experiences, expertise and excitement about LED
lighting. LED, energy and utilities industry experts will discuss related
topics such as rebate and lower rate schedules, how to evaluate LED fixtures
and the state of LED technology and industry standards.

Each meeting runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and includes lunch. You will

Making Sense

"On behalf of TEDA, I am excited to announce our participation in helping to advance the adoption of energy-efficient and environmentally sound LED lighting in China. LED lighting not only reduces significantly the amount of energy we use for illumination, it also does not contain toxic materials such as mercury or lead. In addition to the energy and cost benefits, TEDA and the Tianjin Polytechnic University support the development and manufacturing of high-quality LED fixtures in our region for even greater economic benefit."
